Background and information about the mobile home and the sale:
It is with a heavy heart that I am unfortunately selling my beautiful little spot. The reason for the sale is that my boyfriend and I are buying a house together.
To date, I’ve spent every summer here full-time for about 5 years. In the winter, I often studied abroad or rented a place. I really loved this lifestyle. Instead of a small room or studio, I had a spacious place with a large garden where I could enjoy barbecuing every evening, float on the water with a glass of wine at sunset, go canoeing during the day, and windsurf when there was a bit of wind. The evenings felt like weekends, and the weekends felt like vacations: wonderful! And that feeling was further enhanced by the beautiful, large palm tree in the garden (which the buyer gets to keep), making it feel even more tropical. I also loved being able to walk or bike right into the Twiske and, for example, go rollerblading, take a walk, or relax on the little Twiske beach.
It’s also very convenient that the center of Landsmeer is just a 5-minute bike ride away. There, you can pick up groceries (like for the barbecue) or enjoy a nice meal out. If you’d rather head into the city, or if you’d like to commute to work, you can do so by both public transportation and car. The bus to Station Noord and the bus to Station Sloterdijk both have stops just a stone’s throw away. You can also reach the A10 quickly by car. So, logistically, this location is top-notch! On the one hand, you’re in the city in no time, and on the other, you’re surrounded by nature.
