Proof of enrollment at an accredited educational institution (MBO/HBO/WO)
Proof of current residence outside The Hague (BRP extract, lease agreement, or recent utility bill, no older than 3 months)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why do I have to prove that I’m from outside The Hague?
According to the Fixed-Term Lease Act, only students who move to another municipality for their studies are eligible for a temporary lease. As a landlord, we are legally required to verify this.

Can I renew the lease after 12 months?
Upon expiration of the temporary lease, and if both parties agree, only a lease for an indefinite term can be offered.

When is the apartment available?
The apartment is already available. You can indicate your preferred move-in date in your application.
