How VB works | creating an account and how we select our tenants
You can create a free Search and Explore account on our website, fill out the profile and see if we can help you too. We assign properties objectively based on a transparent waiting list. To get on the waiting list and actually rent, you need a Faster Rental account. Your information is checked only later in the process, when it is likely that you want to rent. We do this securely via DigiD/Datakeeper and, if necessary, by requesting your documents, which you can upload securely into our system. If you become our tenant, you will be refunded the cost of the Faster Rental account.

LOCATION
The building is located in district Nieuw-West, just outside the ring of Amsterdam. Supermarkets, cozy stores and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity. Moreover, there is a lot of greenery within walking distance; on one side of the building the Sloterplas with surrounding park and on the other side the Rembrandtpark with its beautiful ponds, lawns and playgrounds, and also offers a 'green' cycling route to the city center. The center of Amsterdam is only a 15-minute bike ride away from the apartment. A short distance from the building are several bus, streetcar and metro stops that allow you to be door-to-door at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport within half an hour, as well as Amsterdam Central Station. By car you can reach the A10 highway within minutes.

Both spaces are designed to encourage interaction, allowing you to connect with your neighbors. Both spaces are currently undergoing an "upgrade. They are being completely repainted and fitted with new furniture so that these spaces can be even better used by the community and make you feel truly at home.

WHAT WILL APARTMENT RENT COST ME?
The basic rent is €845 per month.
In addition, you will pay a service charge of € 176 (including € 45 for heating) per month. These costs are charged for the services offered, such as the janitors (Tenant Ambassadors), cleaning, security, carpeting, blinds but also for internet and heating in your apartment.
Service costs are an advance payment. Annually you will receive an overview of the actual costs incurred. If applicable, the costs will be settled.
You conclude a rental contract for one year. After that the contract can be terminated monthly.
It is possible to apply for rent subsidy. Whether you are entitled to rent subsidy is of course entirely dependent on your income, you can calculate this on the website of the tax authorities.
