From the beginning of September: Fully furnished and unfurnished room 14 m2 with balcony, in a luxurious and smoke-free student house. The room is EQUIPMENT ONLY FOR STUDENTS a proof of enrollment of the course is a requirement. So no interns, no working people. Command of the Dutch language is a requirement!
The student house has a permit (2017) from the municipality of Amsterdam and was established in 2008. The apartment is completely renovated and has new window frames with HR++ insulating glass, cavity insulation, sound insulating pre-walls between the rooms, floating floors with sound insulation, fire alarms per room, all to the requirements of the municipality of Amsterdam and more. The apartment is located right next to metro station Ganzenhoef in Amsterdam, metro 53 with a direct connection to CS and connections to the rest of Amsterdam. The apartment is part of a monumental tower complex which is located in the Joop van Stigtpark, plus green and forest areas all around. AH, Kruidvat, Medical Center with Pharmacy, Cafeteria and Restaurants opposite the complex. Arena area 10 bus minutes away.
The room is fully furnished and unfurnished. Optional bed linen included. Access to private balcony and access to common balcony through the common room. Bringing your own furniture is not allowed. Facilities: 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, equipped kitchen with combi-oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, 2 cooking facilities, 2 hoods. Everything in terms of plates, cutlery, pans, etc. is provided. In 1 bathroom are the fully automatic washing machine and heat pump dryer.
The apartment towers are locked with a badge system, visitors report through the video intercom. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Being able to live together with other students (now 2 boys, 1 girl) is a requirement, but you are also expected to be able to live sufficiently independently, be able to handle and be careful with the equipment provided. Feeling responsible for the service provided and for general hygiene is a prerequisite. Registration in the BRP (Basisregistratie Personen Amsterdam) is a requirement and because of the license is mandatory as well as proof of registration of the training. In terms of transportation and distances, a study at Acta, Vu, Hes, InHolland, Science Park, UvA Amstel or - Weesperplein, - Roetersplein makes the most sense. Potential tenants coming from far within the Netherlands or Belgium are preferred.
In order to be considered for this room according to the new Law of July 1, 2024 with a 1-year lease, I would like to see a comprehensive mail in Dutch (no google translations) in which you describe your home situation, prior education, desired education, your hobbies, character traits, in short who you are and why you want the room. Full name is a requirement. One sentence of text or referring to your profile is insufficient and will result in no response from me. Based on that, I select candidates in a ranking list. Based on that list, a telephone interview may follow.
