Room rate:
Broom 1: 7m2 € 795,00 (excluding gas/water/light/Internet and service charges)
Broom 2: 11 m2 € 845,00 (excluding gas/water/light/Internet and service charges)
These two rooms are only available for 2 befriended students who are not currently registered in the municipality of Rotterdam. This is in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations for temporary rental. Unfortunately there is no point in responding if you do not meet the conditions below:
According to article 271, second paragraph, first sentence, of Book 7 of the Civil Code, the following categories of persons are eligible:
- 2 students not from Rotterdam who are temporarily studying in Rotterdam and whose duration of study is approximately 1 year.
- 2 students from abroad who are studying in the Netherlands.
To verify this, in addition to the regular documents, we receive the following supporting documents:
- A recent BRP extract (Basisregistratie Personen) to verify the current place of residence
- Proof of registration with a (high) school or university
Apartment/rooms description:
2 rooms located in a cozy fully upholstered and furnished 3-room apartment of 75 m2 with shared use of living room, bathroom and kitchen.
The apartment in which the rooms are located, is located in the cozy district Bergpolder. It is very centrally located less than 10 minutes walk from Central Station and from the center of Rotterdam (Hofplein/Coolsingel). The streetcar stop is around the corner. Stores, cozy eateries and the supermarket are around the corner, and the cozy "Vroesenpark" is less than 10 minutes by bike. In addition, the highways towards The Hague (A13), Breda (A16) and Utrecht (A20) are within a few minutes by car.
Layout:
Entrance: stairs to second floor, landing with coat rack furniture. Through the front door you are immediately in the spacious cozy living room with beautiful high authentic ceiling and old fireplaces. The living room has a grey-wash laminate floor. The living room is furnished with a 3-and a 2-seater sofa, an armchair, coffee table, a desk with chair, a dresser and a dining table with 4 chairs.
Next to the spacious living room is the first room with a single bed (90 x 200) and a large closet.
The 2nd room is located at the rear of the house, in which there is a double box spring (160 x 200) and a large closet.
The modern kitchen, which is also located at the rear of the house, is equipped with an induction hob, extractor hood, large built-in fridge, large freezer (table model), microwave and a Nespresso machine. Also, all kitchen utensils are present such as: plates, glasses, pans, various cutlery etc.
In line with the kitchen are the washing machine and a small format dishwasher.
Through the kitchen you reach the bathroom which is equipped with a sink with washbasin cabinet, a hanging toilet, a spacious shower with aluminum sliding wall and a design radiator. Towels and bed linen are also provided in the house.
